As many of you know, I cohost a podcast called Vikingology: The Art and Science of the Viking Age here on Substack and also places where you get your audio like Apple and Spotify. Usually, I’m the one doing the interviewing with my buddy C.J., but this time the tables got turned.
My former student Heather Anne Campbell — who is an incredibly talented comedian and screenwriter — invited me to join her and her cohosts Nick Wiger and Matt Apodaca on their podcast Get Played where they talk about video games, anime, and lots of other stuff. This time, I was the “other stuff” sort of.
Heather loves Vikings, so she asked me to chat with them about the accuracy of Assassins Creed: Valhalla and some other games that are Viking-themed, though we also branched off into topics like the TV series Vikings and Vinland Saga, my cooking channel, and other rando Viking-y things. You can take a listen here.
Thanks guys for having me on, it was a blast! Great to see you Heather and to meet you Nick and Matt.

If your friend wants to chat about Ghost of Tsushima, that's one of the few topics I enjoy discussing :)
How fun!
