Tupac Could Have Been a Viking
yeah, you read that right...
This past couple weeks I took a little diversion from my usual research and co-wrote a piece which you can read here on Medievalist.net.
My friend Reynir (who is also a viking researcher) and I were having some fun conversations about the parallels between the cultures of Viking Age Scandinavia and the 1990s gangsta rap scene in the U.S. These are two times and places that probably don’t seem like they have anything in common, but they do — in interesting ways.
So, we decided to write about it. And like the image above, AI had nothing to do with it :)
