Hi! I’m Terri, though my friends call me shieldmaidenpdx. I’m a nerd — professional historian by trade — who loves geeking out about the past. I’m fascinated by the Vikings but also history in general and how we tend to play with it and bend it to our will.

I’m also a runner, Seahawks fan, avid cook, wanna be Icelander, and I love snow.
